APW - Elgin, 15J, 18S, gold-filled OF recase, white enamel SS dial with Masonic symbols in place of hour numerals, Masonic symbols above center, beehive within seconds-register, SW-SS, gilt mvt, s#7678452. A rare and visually striking dial, this style is illustrated and identified in Elgin Watch Co. factory literature as "Masonic, Blue Lodge."
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light haziness to plates, few scattered short fine scratches to barrel bridge and balance cock foot, few specks of oxide to regulator; excellent dial with a small hl to lower perimeter of seconds-register; excellent hands, seconds-hand is bent with a curve to its stem; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, sharp engine turning and engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
